Instructor Application​ - UK Programmes

We have various teaching opportunities in Oxford and Cambridge, UK:
Summer Camps - duration 2 weeks, teaching time 9:00 - 15:00
Accommodation & All meals provided
Oxford Session 1 : 5 - 18 July, 2026
Oxford Session 2 : 19 July - 1 August, 2026
Cambridge Session 2 : 19 July - 1 August, 2026
Oxford Session 3 : 2 - 15 August, 2026

About the job:

What to expect

For each course we will provide pre-prepared teaching material, which you are asked to review in preparation for teaching. All instruction and student material is included.

Students are split into two age groups:
• 12-15 years old
• 16-18 years old

Courses:
• Future Ready: AI & Innovation (student age 13-15)
• Future Ready: Cybersecurity & AI (student age 13-15)
• Future Ready: Cybersecurity & AI (student age 16-18)

Instructors – Your teaching will include:
• Daily lessons (Mon-Fri) from 9:00 – 15:00 (with breaks)
• Total 9.5 teaching days
• Classroom presentations
• Instructor guided exercises and activities
• Individual/Group projects
• Q & A sessions
• Kahoot Quizzes
• Assigning and grading two homework assignments (pre-prepared in course material, mark scheme included)
• Coordinating & running a ‘Challenge Day’ – instructions provided in course material
• Writing individual student feedback reports (half day – paid)

2026 Camp Dates for reference:

• Camp 1: Sunday 5 – Saturday 18 July (arrival 4 July)
• Camp 2: Sunday July 19 – Saturday August 1 (arrival 18 July)
• Camp 3: Sunday August 2 – Saturday 15 (arrival 1 August)

Meals & Accommodation:
• Accommodation at an Oxford or Cambridge University college in single rooms with shared bathroom
• Breaskfast & dinner provided

Preparation time:
• Included in contract and remunerated
• Approximately 2-3 hours of zoom training
• On-site orientation and health & safety training – 3-5 hours

What we are looking for

We are looking for MSc students from top universities with the following character and experience profiles:

Technical background: Solid understanding and interest in Artificial Intelligence, Python and/or Cybersecurity

Instructors: (teaching only)

• You are a natural educator with solid understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Python and/or Cybersecurity
• You excel at communicating complex topics in a simple, engaging way. 
• Public speaking and leading a class come naturally to you. 
• Ideally, you have experience as a teaching assistant (TA) at your university and/or have taught pre-university students before. 
• Most importantly, you genuinely enjoy teaching.

Logistics:
• Instructors – You must be available for at least one full two-week camp session, multiple sessions availability is a plus.
• Due to administrative procedures we can only consider applicants who DO NOT require an entry visa for the UK.

Build your own website while learning the basics of Java Script.

Students are introduced to the key principles of web design, user interface (UI) and user experience (UX), while learning the basics of Java Script- Students apply what they learn to their own custom website, adding text, images, audio, videos, hyperlinks, and more.

The course is ideal for students who have completed at least one coding course with TechSpark Academy, Animation and Game Design or Python, and are familiar with the basics of programming logic and computational thinking.

Code in Python
Beginner - Advanced

Learn Python, the language of Instagram, YouTube, and Google’s search engine!

Widely used by programmers, designers and game developers, Python has rapidly become one of the most popular programming languages.

This coding course is available in three levels so that kids and teens – with or without any previous experience – can develop their knowledge and skills at their pace (Juniors, Teens Beginner & Teens Advanced)

CODE IN PYTHON (Juniors): designed for kids aged 10+ this course serves as an introduction to the fun and rewarding world of coding.

CODE IN PYTHON (Teens Beginner): this course is designed for teens aged 12+ with no experience in programming. Students will become familiar with the fun and rewarding world of coding by learning the fundamentals of the Python language.

CODE IN PYTHON (Teens Advanced): this course is designed for teens aged 13+ with previous experience in coding and game development who want to further develop their knowledge.

Animation & Game
Design

This course teaches students to program their own interactive stories, games, and animations, and share their creations with others in the online community, assembling lego-like blocks of code. Scratch is a visual based programming language which encourages kids to think creatively, reason systematically and work collaboratively.

Scratch was designed and is maintained by the Lifelong Kindergarten group at the MIT Media Lab in the spirit of playful and creative learning.
