At TechSpark Academy, we are all about creating opportunities for today’s youth to grow and thrive in our digital world. We were so inspired by the success of our Google Hackathon event that took place in March that we couldn’t wait to get more events on the calendar. Coming to you during the Spring holidays (from April to May) is a range of digital day camps. Each of the courses on offer provides the perfect opportunity for your kids to flex their coding and creative muscles in a fun and engaging environment.

More Digital Camp Wizardry Following Our Sold-Out Event

Did you make it to the Google Hackathon? This sold-out event was the talk of the town and we have received incredibly positive feedback from parents, coding kids, and trainers alike. Google’s team provided us with great insights into how tech can launch your kids onto a winning trajectory.

Karl, the head of IT Security at Google Switzerland, gave us a great perspective on how coding can play an instrumental role in how we show up in the world today.

“Even if you’re not working as a software engineer, learning how to program can help you with many day-to-day tasks in your work. And it also more broadly gives you an understanding of the world we live in, because of all the technology that we have integrated as part of our lives. Learning how to program gives you that next-level of understanding how these things are interconnected.”

We couldn’t agree more.

Coding is for everyone. The sooner kids understand the fun involved and that it’s not some foreign world reserved for the super-intelligent few, the sooner we will see what our younger generations can bring to the table.

Nick, the Security Engineer and Manager for Google Switzerland :

“Working in tech is the same as playing an instrument. It’s the same as learning to sing. It’s the same as doing math, right? You’re not born with the ability to code in C++, you’re not born with the ability to make a website. It takes practice and time, and it’s important that it’s something that people try.

Keep The Momentum Going – Register For Our Digital Day Camps

If you weren’t able to attend the Google Hackathon, our upcoming holiday digital day camps are another great way to get your kids out into the wide world of all things tech, especially coding! And on the back of those inspiring comments from Google themselves, we are sure you’ll agree that learning to code is not as daunting as one might think.

Seeing how your kids take to the world of code is a huge motivator, and we want to help feed their curiosity with tools and skills that they can carry with them for the rest of their lives.

More Camps and Courses, More Venues

Registration is open for all camps, nationwide, in Zurich, Lausanne, Geneva and Zug

Spaces are limited.

We don’t have more than five children per instructor so the opportunity for learning is amplified. Those spaces are filling up, so pick a date and get your kids there. Everything you need to know can be found here, including dates, times, locations, what to bring, what to expect, and all the relevant costs involved.

One last thing: Parents, you get to come in on the final day to see what your kids have been up to. We are certain you will feel an overwhelming sense of pride for these future tech prodigies!
