What to expect at a TechSpark Camp?
- 1:5 instructor to student ratio for plenty of hands-on practice
- Sessions taught in English, the language of code
- Bilingual one-on-one support: most of our instructors are multilingual English-French or English-German
- Healthy snacks and drinks are provided throughout the day
- Outdoor sports breaks morning and afternoon
- Don’t forget: Parent open doors on the last day of each camp!

What are the hours for In-Person Day Camps?
- Our In-Person camps are either 4 or 5 days depending on dates and locations.
- Camp hours vary slightly between locations, and can be verified for each camp on the respective city pages:
- Typical times are as follows:
- Start time: 9:30 or 10:00
- End time: 15:00 or 15:30
- Please note that the exact hours are indicated on each camp and are also stated in booking confirmation mail.
What is the language of instruction for In-Person Day Camps?
- In-Person programs are generally taught in English unless otherwise stated on the product description.
- All our instructors are multilingual, and we make every effort to ensure German or French speaking instructors for junior courses to allow students the opportunity to ask questions in their native language.
What does my child need to participate in In-Person courses?
Camps:
- Teen courses – Students are asked to bring their own laptops and chargers for all coding courses eg. Code in Python, Cybersecurity etc.
- Junior courses – Laptops are available at most locations and can be selected at the time of booking
- Junior Robotics with Lego- students do not need to bring their own devices.
- Lunch & Water bottle – unless otherwise stated on the registration form, students are asked to bring a picnic style lunch. Snacks and Drinks are provided throughout the camp. Don’t forget your refillable water bottle!
Coding Clubs:
- Students can use school devices.
Workshops:
- All students are asked to bring their own laptops & chargers.
What is the rescheduling & cancellation policy for In-Person Camps in Switzerland?

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
- Changes (other than cancellations) can be made to any program without change fees up until 14 days prior to the start of an In-Person Program.
- You may request to withdraw from an In-Person program course up until 14 days prior to the start of that course and receive a voucher for the amounts paid to date less cancellation fee equivalent to 3.5% of amount paid.
- In-Person programs cannot be cancelled within 14 days of the course start date.
- If TechSpark Academy cancels a program for any reason, you will receive a full refund of the amounts paid or voucher equivalent to the amount paid.
- There are no refunds, credits, or replacement days for classes not attended.
- Corporate & Thematic workshops (eg. Google, Siemens, ETHZ workshops) are non-refundable. No credit can be offered for attendance cancellations.
